School Arts Planning
In looking at schools that have the arts as an integral part of their culture, a common ingredient shared by all is a School Arts Team charged with thoughtful planning. Representative teachers, parents and the principal come together regularly to look at how the arts are currently being used and how they can become even more integral to student learning. Often they use this guiding question in their planning: “What kinds of arts and culture experiences do we want students to have had by the time they leave our school?”
