Ongoing Development for Teachers

Teachers give so much to their students, but often forget to allow themselves the opportunity to explore new ideas. Learning isn't just for kids – it's a life-long endeavor that must be actively pursued. Learning about the arts can be scary stuff to many teachers, but trying a little at a time can prove to be interesting and even fun. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

ComedySportz
event Faculty Teambuilding
description When people see a ComedySportz show for the first time, they're often struck by how the players seem to read each others' minds, and how completely they support each other. No one seems worried when things go wrong - often, the audience can't even tell that something isn't perfect. It's not an accident. It's by design, and we can bring those same skills to your faculty. We focus on these areas: listening, laughing together, thinking fast, letting go of preconceived roles and roadblocks, sharing mistakes, saying YES, honoring and building on our teammates' contributions and ideas, finding where we're needed without direction, committing to the goal and celebrating our team accomplishments.
cost varies; standard 2.5 hour workshop is $750
